Alexander Arms

I've been looking for a semi auto .17hmr for varmints. The Alexander arms AR platform rifle keeps showing up on many forums and "best" lists. I'm not familiar with anything they do. Anyone know anything about their product? Their rifles start at $1000.

I think their products have been reviewed over on rimfirecentral.com and the reviews have not been positive. If you want a semi-auto in .17hmr, savage has one that is better. I would get that before the alexander arms.
