The team can hold 30 practices before the beginning of the season. Arkansas might adjust its start date to time those 30 workouts the way Mike Anderson wants. The most you can do in six weeks, of course, is five per week.

He was a nice player. But you get the point.
Every year there's someone tearing up practice or pickup games in the summer, and some fans start salivating.
Me, I 95% ignore practice reports. I'll wait until about 10 games are played before starting to form any thoughts about a player.

Well you know basketball season is purt-near here when bear season opens. Arkansas limit is 1 bear whether by muzzle loader, bow,  or otherwise. I heard somewhere that CMA gets his limit every year and, most impressively, he bear hunts barehanded.

IMO, this will be the difference in our team.. we will be able to get after people on defense, .. we've not had the guards and this year appears different.

Hopefully Dusty and C.J. get up to speed defensively as, it appears, those are our two weakest perimeter defenders although they do bring a lot to the table on offense.

Barford and Macon are going to have to adjust to the physicality of D1 ball, Barford maybe not as much because of his size and strength. In order for us to have the kind of season we want, those two have to make an immediate impact on defense.

No worries about defense with Beard and Watkins, two solid defenders who will lead by example with effort, hustle and scrappiness.
