Gabe just had a bad outing like every athlete has experienced. I agree that it's not a wall. He'll be fine.

Breaking—The eighth and final team in the Players Era NIL event in Las Vegas later this year is Creighton, sources tell @CBSSports. The Bluejays were scheduled to be in the loaded 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis but will now instead be bought out of their contract.

Not that it matters but it matters when players leave because the head coach is toxic.
I'm still doing research, but wanted to know from you all; how did the university miss this? No checks and balances. Neighbors could be on JD level in terms of toxic behavior. Todd is the only coach outside of Lacey that is coaching. Why have they not expressed concern? IF Todd and Lacey haven't said anything that would make them complicit also.

@JonRothstein
Source: Alabama will host McNeese on November 11th in Tuscaloosa.

Another notable addition to the Crimson Tide's non-conference schedule.

Quote from: Ttownman on Today at 08:32:56 amAxle, my dear friend, your lack judgment/analytical skill and being unable to separate them from over emotion is the reason why the jury system is in trouble in this country and getting worse...the rest of the reason is corrupt jury instruction from corrupt judges who dont want you to analysis and arrive at the truth, the bottom line.  CD's decisions can withstand honest scrutiny just like all the rest of us should be open to having on us - or cant our teammates or our bosses any longer question what we do?

As for me, I do occasionally make mistakes, no matter how well intended they were, or how infrequent.  I would have loved to have had Rylin have a heroic moment there, but the odds were not in her favor, veteran or not the way she has been swinging the bat since the last quarter of last season.  Personally, I would consider it if I am the coach, but I would still bat Camenzind and maybe save Rylin for a last gasp situation.  For one thing, if it was to be hit on the ground Hannah had a better chance of beating it out in that situation than Rylin who is fairly slow as well as not swinging the bat well.  Hannah also doesnt have nearly as high a KO to out ration as Rylin.

I dont know how deep the health scare that went through that softball community affected certain people, but its left a lasting effect.  Hedgecock, Gammill, the older players that have been there the longest and the female coaches just dont seem the same since.  I question a lot of decisions from that time on to be honest.  I am not trying to make a big deal of it, just trying to make sense of it.  I hurt for them, but they just havent been the same since imho.

Thanks for your opinion. I shouldn't but I assume I can express mine. All I was saying is that nobody on here or any where else knows why coach CD made the decision she made. She didn't have the hindsight you and the rest of us have.

Quote from: ChitownHawg on Yesterday at 03:32:14 pmHow many years have you coached NCAA basketball? I haven't. Heck it's been years since I stepped onto a court to play basketball.

You are posting like I am wishing for this. Im not. As my OP was stating 11 was what NCAA head coaches were doing. Is there risk to it as you point out? Certainly.

Apparently these coaches have weighed the risk and decided to go with 11 players who will get time and players 12/13 sit at the end of the bench to never see playing time.

This sums up what several coaches have been saying. Coaches like Cal and others that we have heard saying it, and the reporters telling us other coaches are saying it. I mean I just take several examples at their word as to what they will do. 9-11 sure enough starter minute types then fill it out with walkon types. Maybe a guy that knows he is not pro potential that wants to play for Cal, Self, etc for 4 years then grad assistant to get a shot at coaching college ball because they have learned the system under one of the best college coaches.
