I did some channel surfing between games (or, was it at halftime?) yesterday while watching the Rose and Sugar Bowls. At one point, I jumped on ABC just in time to see a pretty young lady calling the Hogs. Of course, I had to see what that was about.

As it turned out, it was the first show of the new season of The Bachelor, and one of the female "contestants" is from Hoxie. As she said, the things to do in Hoxie are "Faith, Family and Football".

She looks great. My sister watches this show, I'll give her the heads-up on "Raven."

I would say it is good for recruiting but I'd be a little worried if we recruited a football player who watches the Bachelor. :)

I'm not familiar with the show-  I assume there is some process of elimination of candidates.  So,  however many he can keep at the first elimination  +/- a few.   After all,  its only reasonable for him to ditch the ones that are bad in bed.

True. I wasn't sure how many were kicked off early and never had a shot. I don't know that I have ever watched an episode of the show, but I assumed it was like American Idol or something where a lot of people get kicked off in the beginning. (presumably prior to being able to have intercourse)

As I understand it he is allotted time with each girl. Private time, not just conversation time. Seems like he has to be given that in order to make a proper decision.  Thus ensuring he can dip his stick in each one.  Lucky bastard.
