you retards realize virginia was without their best offensive player right(and coincidentally the only nba caliber player on their team)

I said this earlier, except I don't see him as the ONLY NBA talent on that team. A team doesn't go through the ACC with that record without enough talent to clobber UMBC.

Did they get you to trade a walk on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage...?

So?  A one seed shouldn't live and die off of one player, especially against a #16 seed.

Nor was it even a starter.

6th man maybe? A 6'7 shooting guard is a big weapon to lose.

So do they have no depth past the sixth man?  According to the Washington Post his value to the team per game is only 1.4 pts per game more than the average player.

QuoteBased on his box plus-minus, or BPM, an estimate of the points per 100 possessions a player contributed above a league-average player, translated to an average team, he was worth 9.6 net points per 100 possessions. And since he is only involved in 15 possessions per game, on both offense and defense, his true impact is less than two points per contest (1.4), on average. That's not a lot of ground for his replacements to make up, nor is it enough to significantly discount a team that was more than 32 net points per 100 possessions better than an average team this season, the highest in the nation according to statistical guru Ken Pomeroy.
