I want to think we could get Butch Davis if indeed we ever have a coaching change, but beyond him getting a reconizable name will be difficult.

Many schools in the last few years have had to go far, far down their wish list to get a coach:
Neb
Notre Dame
Ole Miss
Alabama
LSU

Notre Dame wanted Urban Meyer, thats it.  After that, their list had to be made.  No one wanted Nebraska.  Bama had problems keeping guys.

I think Arkansas, if Butch Davis says 'no', will be either like the Notre Dame job or Nebraska job.  You'll find either people saying no, or the list being short beyond Davis.  That's if Davs is the top candidate, which it seems.  I think there are stronger people, power wise, behind Davis than people behind Meyer to ND.  Meyer was still at Utah at the time.  Davis is unemployed.  Time will tell.
