Jeff "hogfanintx" Anderson

i know nothing about car racing, but hands down the best name ever in any sport has to be Dick Trickle, Followed closely by baseball players Milton Bradley, and coco crisp.  Could their parents not spell?  Maybe they were eating cereal and playing a board game when they named them and just pointed to some words onthe box.
Let's make some waves.

Okay, this has nothing to do with football, but it is funny. My brother called me the other night and said he had eaten with a lady whose last name is Offenbach. They pronounce it Awf-In-Back. She has an uncle named Jack Offenbach.

MM and DW are to be lauded as Arkansas sports heroes for their overall contribution, not just on the playing field during one season, but also for the sacrifices that they made which ensured the dismantling of the Frank Broyles machine.

What were the RB's from Texas names - something like lambchop or porkchop, and jam jones from either Texas or Oklahoma.

It was Ham Jones, Lam Jones and Jam Jones and they were brothers.....had to love those names.  How about the linebacker from OU "Imagonnagetcha" or something like that a couple of years ago.

I think Johnny "Ham" Jones was from Hamlin and Johnny "Lam" Jones was from Lampasas.  So these are nicknames.  I don't remember ever hearing that they were brothers, and since they were from different towns I would guess that they are not.
Nope not brothers.

I don't have a Razorback name that sticks out, but I remember a player that played for the Dallas Cowboys in the 70's that had the last name of shorthose.  Anybody remember that?

Lam Jones and Jam Jones?  Lou Holtz, at halftime said, "we're just trying to keep up with the Jones."
