You get a point for guessing the player.

Mr. Cooper gets a point for guessing the program even if he phrased it as a question.

Pete Incaviglia is the most incredible college power hitter I ever saw.  It seemed like he hit a dinger about once every four times at bat.

In 1985 he hit .464 with 48 home runs and 143 RBI for Oklahoma State.  His slugging percentage was 1.140, so I wasn't far off when I said he hit a homer once every four times he batted.

In three seasons at OSU he hit 100 homers and drove in 324 runs.

Sorry for the derail.

Mr. Cooper

Name both of the NCAA coaches that have led 2 different schools to a national championsip.

Baseball, of course.

Since the draft started,  who is the only player that went from straight from college to the majors without playing in the minors and became a Hall of Famer?

I had some guesses but none of them were right, so I Googled it.

There's a pretty good hint for this question but it's not my question and I'm afraid it would give it away.

Anyway, this player also achieved something else extremely rare for an athlete.

Wisco Pig

Pretty sure Yount did not play college ball, as he debuted with the Brewers at the age of 18 or maybe even 17, so I'll guess Winfield?

Winfield is correct.  A great athlete

Hogz87

Yeah, Winfield has the distinction of being drafted by a team from four different professional leagues: MLB, NBA, NFL, and ABA.  He didn't even play college football and the Vikings still drafted him.

GatorHog

OP has been updated to reflect the current standings.  Lemme know if anything is off.  And Pete Incaviglia, wow
