If the team does great, I'll follow them. If they don't, I'll forget about them. I have absolutely ZERO motive to root for them through "thick and thin." Not just in basketball, but in football as well. I'm not familiar with these kids. They'll only be here a couple of semesters.

I agree with you.  NIL empowers 18 yr Olds and won't turn out well for the 'company'.

I am pro student athlete. So I defend anything that gives them more freedom and control over their life.

I also feel that long term support for college football will deteriorate. Unlike pro sports that can survive off TV revenue, college sports need rabid fans to be financially viable. Im not sold that we won't figure it out, but I do think that is a viable possibility.

Muss is kind of a coaching meteor. Burns brightly for a short period of time but flames out just as quickly. It was time for him to move on and both sides knew it.

Did anyone try to get CWS tickets in the advance sale this morning? Heard there were over 20k "people" (bots, probably) in the queue. Lot of complaints. I figure prices will be gouged even more this year.
