Just about everything is going our way tonight. First the SC win, and now teams that were around us on the bubble are dropping like flies in tonight's action. We came into tonight averaging out around the 4th to last team in as an 11 seed. Here are a couple of other games and how far ahead they are on the S-curve compared to where we were coming into tonight.

+20 - Loss - South Carolina
+19 - Win - Maryland
+18  - Loss - Xavier
+17 - Win- SMU
+16 - Loss - Northwestern
+15 - Win - Minnesota (Good for us)
+12 - Win - Oklahoma State (Also good for us)
+10 - Win - Iowa State
+8 - Loss - Kansas State
+7 - Losing - TCU
+5 - Win - Miami

+/- 0 - Win - Arkansas

-2 - Win - Seton Hall (beat Creighton at home, so they'll move up too but shouldn't pass us.)
-3 - Win - Illinois State with a tight game at home
----Bubble Line----
-5 - Loss - Georgia Tech
-7 - Loss - Rhode Island (Lost at home to a sub .500 team, they were only in a third of the brackets, so their bubble probably just burst)
-11 - Loss - Indiana (Pop)
-14 - Win - Providence

So while we are likely to shoot up 8 spots or so, even the teams behind us were falling further off. Anything we can do to make that cushion softer.

I was hoping somebody would make a thread like this.

Oklahoma State holding on to this win over TCU would be nice

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the update.

There will be 6 million "just win" responses to this thread, but it'll likely be more complex this year. We may need to keep a pretty close eye on these teams down the stretch.

Great post. OSU just pulled off the win by the way! Was a really good game

Can't be ... Some goober was on here telling how great Rhode island was the other day

It would be nice to close out on a winning streak and forget the bubble and get favorable opponents in the big dance!

If Arkansas could have just made the Oklahoma State game competitive, it wouldn't be a bad loss at all.  OSU started 0-6 in conference, but that included road games at Kansas and Baylor with a home game against West Virginia.

Arkansas caught OSU in a stretch where they have now won 7 of 8 games and worked their way up to fifth place in the Big XII.  The only loss was at home to Baylor by 3 points.
