A JC transfer who was booted from his original school for suspected theft.  Sounds familiar.

And he has been described as an elite athlete.  It does sound familiar.

not the common grip certainly but I've known some to use that grip.

Pretty sure Mallett had to grip the ball that way after Nick Fairley rearranged his throwing motion for him.

Marshall looks like a good QB. But since Georgia moved him to CB, he has only had one real year of playing QB on the college level and that was at the junior college level. Hopefully, Gus will do as good a job developing him as he did Frazier.
