With the 16th overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select.....

Terry Rozier-  PG  Louisville

As a Celtics fan, not a huge fan of the pick.    He's an athlete, but that front court is just a mess.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Well, I've been seeing "Portis to Milwaukee" in many mock drafts. I guess we'll see.

Bobby still available...Will he go to the bucks?  Really wish he would have went to Atlanta I liked that fit.

I just don't like him as a Buck.    He needs somewhere he can get some shots, and play off a good pick and pop guard.

Milwaukee needs a center and a shooter; Bobby is neither

wow another PG to Celtics???

They're deep at guard.  I expect they may move some of these assets eventually, though.

Can he possibly beat out Isiah Thomas or Marcus Smart??  I always give the benefit of the doubt to Danny Ainge  but IMHO this is the last thing they needed  must be something brewing but I think they really like Smart and Thomas

Well crap!!!!
I was getting all excited to see Portis playing for my Celtics.
Disappointed with the pick.

I don't think they want him to;  the modern NBA requires having 3 reliable guards as the basis of your rotation, and each brings a little something different to the table.

If Portis drops much farther, he will be the steal of the draft instead of Winslow.

Now, I hope Houston takes him. It would be great for him to play for Kevin McHale.

I just don't see his fit with that roster.

Still, stranger things have happened.

I'd be fine with that. I know he doesn't want to drop that low but he would be on a very good team.

I think it is Atlanta   they just dropped down and hope they can still get him

I think Atlanta makes a ton of sense now, at #19.   They're going to get a player they want, and a litle extra from the Wizards.

Really, really hate this for Portis.  He'll still go in the 1st round, but wherever he gets drafted at this point is going to be a steal.

I love it. I mean, it'll hurt his first paycheck, that does suck. I guess he could've come back and gotten drafted higher next year.

But he's going to get to start his career on a playoff team now. That's not all bad.

This Houston pick helps beverly

On Houston radio they've been talking about Houston signing a foreign PG who they own the rights to. The hosts of the show both said they thought Beverly would not be resigned if this happened.

Should not have left early. Easy to say now, but if you are not a sure fire top 10 pick, there is just too much to gain by staying if you're a great player who is a sophomore. Stay and improve and be a top 5 pick the next year! Plus you help your school stay relevant.

He should have left.   He was never going to be a Top 5 pick-- ever-  not this year, not next year, not 2 years ago.

The question is though if he comes back why do you think he goes higher ... already All American, SEC player of the year .... skills probably not going to improve that much in college
