Absolute stupidity, some parts of Special Teams were very good( players were responsible)
Some parts were bad(fire the coach)

Typical HOGVILLE logic!!!!

Baylor has been passing lots of collection plates to keep Scott Drew. I doubt 1.5 million was offered. Maybe asked but who knows . A.J Storr was asking 1.2 million but I don't think Kansas is giving him that much But they might

Quote from: redleg on Today at 12:30:03 pmSomeone had better get on the ball. The portal closes May 1. We have 1 scholarship player on our team and 1 walk-on. I understand that Cal is meticulous and picky, but dammit c'mon on man!
Please understand the portal. May 1 is the deadline to ENTER the portal, not to decide on a new team.

Quote from: Coachjy on Today at 04:07:17 pmWe went from Muss who was a media whore to Cal who keeps a tight lid on things. We will know when he wants us to know. Let the man do his job and shut up!
You mean the guy who got us 1 sweet 16 and 2 elite 8's? Yeah you're the kind of guy that will be calling for Cal's head after year 3 if not sooner.

Quote from: nesjunk on Today at 07:10:06 pmAt 2-13 in the SEC, they hold the highest SOS in the land, and their RPI is 35.  Their schedule is far easier in the second half of the season, and it can be salvaged, but they have zero margin for error.  They must start winning... a lot.

The Big 12 and PAC struggling will help.  They have 14 Q1 losses.  How can you penalize a team for that?

Quote from: Sage Hog on Today at 07:32:58 pmI'm starting to think a nil budget of $5-6 million isn't near enough. Time for a salary cap and some structure to this thing.

Totally agree on structured and caps. Otherwise recruiting will become as simple as highest bidder and there will be zero parity.

Idk how you do a salary cap on NIL though.

One of the things I genuinely respect about Rick Barnes' program is that he really only wants guys that want to be there. If you don't want to be there, it's not good for anyone. They win enough to get guys who want to be there.

I'd spend 1.5 each for the top three, 1.2 for the fourth, and divvy up the other 1.3 million for the rest of the roster.  Devo, if you will come here for zero nil, or basically self supporting, ya oughta come back!
