First of all let me say how terribly and deeply sorry I am about what has happened.  These fine men were not from Alabama but I can assure you they were a part of this team.  They were all experts in their field and true professionals.  Over this mobilization they also became our friends.  Our hearts go out to all of those effected in Arkansas.  I want you and everyone in your state to know that the 1-131st is here for anything that you need.  Please let me know as you get details on the arrangements.  Many people both here and within the FRG in Alabama want to assist in any possible way.  Please keep us in the information flow.

LTC Maner is a class act.  Great commander.  We serve with the "Palehorse" guys...CPT Taylor and company were not only comrades in arms, but friends.  January 20, 2007, and hearing "Fallen Angel, EZ 40" is something that still haunts me and something I hope I will never have to experience again.
