Kalen DeBoer and Nick Saban tied for third place in Wednesday's celebrity pro-am golf event ahead of the Regions Tradition at Greystone

"The one thing I know is that the fans will never be worried about me playing too much golf and (not) focusing on football after they watch what happens today," Deboer said before teeing off.

Both golfers fell below John Daly's group. Daly's celebrity amateurs included former Auburn coach and U.S. senator Tommy Tuberville, country music singer Riley Green and radio personality Bubba.

The Daly group checked in with a 52 for 18 holes. The performance was good enough to win by four strokes.
