What do we want to hear from DVH tomorrow to pick us up after a disappointing season?  I'm looking for 2 things

1. Early indications on Jorns replacement
2. What are the chances of getting our top recruits to campus?  If we get 7 of the 11 below I think we will be in great shape.  Please someone from the media see if DVH can tell us what these guys are targeting for their "number"!!!

1.  Ben Rortvedt - 5-10, 185, C
2.  Cole Stobbe - 6-1, 180, SS
3.  Tyler Benninghoff - 6-4, 180, RHP
4.  Jordan McFarland - 6-4, 220, OF
5.  Dominic Fletcher - 5-9, 180, OF
6.  Brenden Heiss - 6-1, 210, RHP
7.  Matt Cronin - 5-11, 170, LHP
8.  Lucas Krull - 6-6, 200, LHP
9.  Jaxon Williams - 5-7, 155, 2B
10.  Evan Lee - 6-0, 160, LHP
11.  Blake Lillis - 6-3, 175, LHP

It doesn't matter in the least what these guy say their number is. They have learned over the years that a kid can tell you he won't sign for less than 1.5 million, and then he signs for $800,000, it's what makes baseball recruiting at this level so gut wrenching. Some scouts or cross checkers can change a kids mind in heartbeat, by telling him how the organization plans to bring him up and make him think he will be in the show by the time he would be graduating college.

I personally think we get Benninghoff. If we get 2-3 out of Heiss, McFarland, Fletcher, Stobbe, or Rortvedt then I would be pumped for next year. I really want Stobbe and Rortvedt for their bats.
