I was away a few minutes.  What happened?

I guess DVH is allowing all his pitchers to get in this game.  IF, the Hogs do not win tonight, they will not get into the game.

Worst.....bullpen......ever.  I say let em all go after the season. Maday, Smith, Gilbert, and Collis.  Get them out of here.  DVH trims the fat after every season so why stop this year.

Hell, how many more pitchers do we have to put in there.

tophawg19

D.V.H needs some more pitchers i know where his recruiting will be . he will get us there so we have to be patient [sp] and believe in this team . if we had our 3 players back we would have had a chance at winning everything . not just a regional .

Can DVH go have that chat with Tommy Harmon now?  :(

Bomis Hawg

hognelson

Yeah, I guess you're right.  Don't want to act like he did yesterday.  Take it on the chin and come back tomorrow and kick some butt.

artyhog

DVH has more class than all the Sworn coaches put together.

hognelson

I know he does, just the emotions getting the best of me.

DVH will play with class, win or lose.  I don't think DVH will every have sour grapes after a game, just me.  Seems like Texas has sour grapes more than most.

artyhog

Texas just can not stand to loose to the Hogs at anything.

Hogs need to get a good night sleep.  It ought to be a good game tomorrow.

I am proud of the Hogs for not laying down in the game.

hognelson

Yep, we fought till the end.  Looking forward to tomorrow and the Hogs moving on to Oxford!!

Nice job with the updates! Hopefully tomorrrow will provide different results.  I mean how often do you score 8 runs in a baseball game and lose?  Not to mention the other team more than doubling your run output!

Bomis Hawg

I thought about telling a fib in the big Texas inning. ;D

But, this Arkansas team doesn't lay down.  Some of us thought so when they were in the 5-game losing streak.  It was 100% mental, it seems now.  They are way past that.  It's time to "clutch up" and show Texas what this team is about.

As far as pitching goes, at least what I think, Charley goes today.  He'll go until he can't grip the ball, which is probably what he wants.  He wants the ball, as does Schmidt, in these clutch games.  Then, if Arkansas has the lead, you'll see them platoon the bullpen, starting with Josh Smith.  If it starts to get close, Schmidt comes in to finish.  That's just my thinking.  Van Horn could totally change that theory up.  I'm still wondering about Clayton Stewart pitching the game out yesterday.  Does Texas think they will railroad the hogs again and don't need him?
