Quote from: RebelliousHog on Today at 12:47:15 pmLol   you're funny.  And clairvoyant. The only thing that bothers me is what I've already stated, which you and your ignored buddies can't understand.

Telling me the same shizz over and over gets boring and tends to lead me to ignore you.

How many you have on ignore?

Quote from: MuskogeeHogFan on Today at 02:17:18 pmThe only question I have is his mobility. That's a big kid to only be 6-3. One initial positive is that he has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Get them both to lose about 30lbs and you might have something.

Quote from: LadybackBBFan on Today at 09:59:24 amCoach D can't make up her mind about Hanna C.  She is one of our better hitters and most consistent hitters.  She needs to be in the lineup everyday as the DH or in the field.  She is a better defensive outfielder than Carter and at the time that she replaced Carter was hitting a lot better than Carter.  Right now, however, I think Carter is probably our most consistent hitter she deserved to be in the lineup.

I would not have batted Hedgecock for Hanna C. and I would not have had Cloud pinch hit either.  However, the team is struggling on offense - we have no money player in the lineup right now.

It's extremely rare to see a legit 2 way player in softball at the elite level. Ava Brown is one example. Hannah Camenzind is not. Nothing against her. I assume she was recruited to pitch. She pitched only last year and did very well. (Yes no one knowing her  was on her side last year) this year there's some desire to play both sides of the ball and clearly her pitching has suffered. She is not the one or the two and is in an ongoing battle for 3-4-5. She has found herself in a position to hit in the line up only because of Hedgecocks performance this year. And the fact that several are injured.
The fact that HC rolls over a lot of pitches and hits a lot of ground balls, is the reason why I would have left her in there if they paid me the 6 figures. A ground ball finding the hole would have tied the game.

Quote from: incHOGnito on Today at 02:57:47 pmI am shocked that we don't try to bunt Wilmsmeyer more. I figured we would see it last night when we had a guy on first.
he hasn't been able to get a sacrific bunt down, but I get what you're saying

Quote from: Johnnie5 on Today at 09:34:08 amLast season? He is a junior and his draft stock probaly took a major hit this year. Could easily see him back next year. And having a week off is more than just healing. Dude needs a break, rest and reset. Just leaving him in there or PH him in big situations ain't working. It's mental as much as it is physical at this point
You can't come back for your Sr season unless you are such a stud that you still go on the first couple of rounds, because you lose all leverage.

I agree ! Han Cam has had a fairly solid bat all year... while Hedge has been OTL for whatever reason. I have been concerned all year about the trading of the hitting coach... Yo Coach Yo might have been more solid than we gave her credit for. For example, think back to Braxton Burnside and KB Sides and the improvement both of those gals made in their hitting after getting here, night & Day improvement. Maybe Gasso needs more time and better material, but at least a couple of our hitters digressed this year IMO ?
