Key word is playing. If they aren't playing, then they will look elsewhere regardless of what they think of the coach.

There will always be attrition but I like the idea of keeping kids in the program as long as they are living up to their end of bargain regardless of if their talent allows them to see the field very much.

I think CBB does things the right way and gives all recruits / players a chance. Even rewards walk-ons.
Could do like some teams seem to do (no names), if after a season or so, if they can't make to two deep,
encourage them to transfer out, that gives the school more commitments they can take. 27, 29, 34 . . .
Then at the end of the next season, same process. Just a thought.
