Is Arkansas taking a look at Derek Brinker? He's a Junior.

He plays RB at Springdale Har-Ber.  He's pretty big and has decent speed.  He bulldozes over people.  I was wondering if Arkansas might be looking at him as possibly playing FB at the next level.  For example Peyton Hillis played RB in high school, but FB in college.

i do not know but one thing the hog staff might look at is this. it seems tulsa is hitting early on our crop of juniors we have in state by offering early rides so does petrino and staff need to offer our top juniors in state now or wait. the part that scares me is malzaln will know who our top players are and get an early start on them and you know how some kids are they never forget about the one that offered first

the new Hog staff has been here what? a month.  most of that time they're trying get the most out of this class.  don't see how they'd have time to worry about next year's.  once signing day is done and they get out in the state, meet coaches, to some booster club appearences they'll be fine.
