I was just listening to Mike Irwin on the Forum.  The date was 1/04/2017.  Mike does a great job expressing his thoughts on the football and basketball programs as well as the one and done scenario in bb.  If you get a chance, listen to the podcast.  He provided some insight into the inner circle issues with the football program that I suspected, but wasn't personally aware of.

Great insight.  Remember this statement in a few weeks (paraphrase) "To get this thing fixed he may have to let some players go.  Some of those will cause the fans to question him."  If there is cancer in the locker room you must cut it out.  Even if it is very talented players.

If you have not listened to this podcast, you really need to.  During the season the up and down nature of the team concerned me.  After listening to this insight from Mike Irwin I am even more concerned.

The thing that Irwin said that was really concerning was about how some of the players causing problems who might be invited to leave would be a surprise to Arkansas fans and players we might not want to see go.

Yes, that's it. We couldn't catch anyone, tackle anyone, or 'set the edge' because there were a few malcontents on the team.

You could say that every year.

No need to go the soap opera route to explain things.

I guarantee you you can find a handful of malcontents on Alabama's team, too. They got 4-star guys who can't get on the field.

We are so slow and methodical in offering players because they have to check all of the uncommon boxes.  This causes us to have to play catch up in recruiting and one of the reasons our recruiting classes haven't ended with that wow factor on signing day.

Since every returning player on next years team is 100% signed off on by B.ert, this shouldn't be a problem next year.  Sounds like B.ert sold us a bill of goods on several different things

He definitely didn't display the attitude of a leader.  If, big if, he is the problem then we need to move on.  We have a back up who has the potential to make us better.

Sounds like the leadership on the team is seeing through the bs that this coaching staff is feeding them and the fans.  I had heard this but wasn't sure what to make of it.  It is time for this guy to go he is not the leader of young men we are looking  for he is a bit narssistic like Nutt in that his personality must be the biggest in the room.
