I asked this in another thread but have seen no good reason given.........Can anyone with some basketball intelligence tell me why we possibly would have given their guards that 5 ft cushion the whole game to dribble and dribble and dribble while waiting for the screens to develop, instead of getting in the guys shorts and making him penetrate and dish off ...it was obvious two minutes into the game what was going to develop and except maybe the last 4 minutes we let it happen......we had better athletes, more depth, and an  inside defensive presence to cover the paint , everything it seems to force the action..I am a CPA, but the C doesnt stand for coach... someone smarter than me about basketball tell me what I am not seeing and why that would have been a bad idea...........

"You just need to see the big picture." Well, that's what my boss says when someone questions why we are expected to do something stupid. Look at the big picture. When you see it, it will be obvious.
