Miami/Tampa Trip

Heading down to South Florida for a week.  Only gonna be in Tampa for a day and a half then in Miami for the rest of the time.  Any tips or suggestions on things to do other than South Beach?

We are thinking about heading down to Key West for a day too.  Is it worth the 3 hour trip down and back.  I figure why not since we are already that close.

Key West for a day, probably worth it if you stay overnight.  Gives you time to rent a jetski and tour the island.  If you don't make it all the way down to Key West, I hear Marathon Key is nice.

You won't be far from the Everglades, maybe worth a day trip by car as well. Will be hot and muggy so be prepared.

Get a cuban coffee and cuban sandwich, yum.
