laptop problem

Picked up a virus a couple days ago and after using restore to get rid of it my SD card reader stopped working. Any suggestions?

I'm sure you have antivirus software, but if you don't, go to www.malwarebytes.org and download the FREE system scanner.  Run the full scan including the boot time scan (which will restart your computer to check for malware during boot).

Start there, then start taking the money-costing advice.
