Can anyone tell where to stay, places to eat and what too see?  Thanks

We stayed a week in Ocracoke back in 2011 and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. It was a small town so, if you have kids, you may want to look at  Hatteras, Avon, Kitty Hawk, etc.. Hatteras is just a 30 minute ferry ride away.
