I don't know if we ever offered the kid or not and not sure if he would fit in on our squad but just food for thought.  Georgia probably won't release him to an SEC school.

That's the way it works.  When they leave a SEC school they are not going to another one.  If they stay in the SEC footprint, most likely, they're going to a school where they can play immediately.

Didn't we recruit Cherry as well and got him to de-comit from TN, then he ended up at texass?

He's already quit texass for what it's worth.  Strong's recruiting attrition isn't looking good for him so far.
