I know mine will probably be a bit different than most but:

1993-1994 year, the 120-68 crushing of Missouri in Bud Walton.  I have never seen a finer performance by a Razorback team in any sport.  Missouri ended up being a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament that year.

That one makes my consideration list.  Excluding the NC vs Duke, beating UK in Barnhill in 1993 101-94.  Maybe my favorite Hog basketball team.  The Barnhill thread brought back memories of my ears ringing like I had left a rock concert and it continuing until well after getting home.  Also beating UK Super Bowl Sunday 1995 back when college basketball was big enough to lead into the Super Bowl pregame.  I don't know if I can name just one.  Beating NC at PB.  I still remember sitting in church as a kid thinking about getting home to see it.  Beating Texas and Abe Lemons or the Strollin with Nolan over Sweet Tom.  Another good one was beating the dog doo out of Auburn in the late 90's at BWA as underdogs.  Beating KU in Barnhill in the late 80's which pretty much announced Nolan's program was on the rise.  Beating Shaq at Barnhill.  I would add beating UNC at the Final Four in Seattle but I kind of don't remember parts because I did a 'little tailgating' before the game.

I'm going with UK 1993 because of the memory of watching that one from the student section of the old Barn.

rzrbackrob

The 1978 UCLA tournament game. This win was the start of all the final 4's and national championship.

The 1994 championship game wasn't bad either.

The double overtime victory over Texas A & M at Barnhill, I believe the year was during Eddie Sutton's
2nd year as coach of the Razorbacks.

Texas A & M coach was Shelby Metcalf, and they had a great player named Sonny Parker, I believe, and were defending champion of the SWC, and was
again contending for the title.

The game was regionally televised, something that I could not ever remember seeing at Arkansas for the basketball program.

I had taken some kids from 5th & 6th grade league team to watch the game, and for most, it was their first ever at the University of Arkansas sporting event.

The kids had the greatest time of their life, it was a nail biting exciting game thru out, the crowd was unreal, the Hogs won in double overtime, and some of the kids actually were shown on the tv camera waving at the camera's that were showing the game.

I believe that game set the tone for Razorback basketball in the SWC, as did the Razorbacks beating UCLA in the NCAA regionals, set the tone for the Razorback basketball on the national scene.

@ Texas Tech in 1979.  Moncrief double pump faked to get the three players guarding him into the air, then sank a perimeter jumper as time expired and Paul Eells went nuts.

@ Houston in 1979 would be my second favorite.  Down 21 at the half, Moncrief threw the team on his back and won.
Pts/Game: 122nd
Rebounds/Game: 208th
Assists/Game:  240th
FG%:  173rd

My personal favorite moment?

A full house singing 'All our Exes Live in Texas' during our last SWC home game.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Beating Phi Slama Jamma in the Barn when my good buddy Hastings hit a shot over Akeem to win.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

So many memorable games but the first one that came to mind when reading the Subject line was UA over North Carolina, 65 - 64, in Pine Bluff in 1984.

Like AKHogsHoopsFan I gotta put the 1979 Houston game in my top 10. That was quite a comeback for a Sutton coached team. Later, under Nolan, it wasn't that big a deal to come back after falling behind by 20 points or lose a 20 point lead for that matter.

sirhog

Championship game for obvious reasons.

Beating UK at Rupp during the 94 season. They had us down 15 points then Rodrick Rhodes gets a T and we start to go on a run. In the second half we took control and won.

2000 SEC Tournament games were great also.

One of my favs was watching Al Dillard make just about everything he threw up against Deleware St.  Championship game my all-time fav followed closely by the Missouri slaughter.

I loved crushing Auburn at BWA in 1999 or 2000. I think they may have been ranked #1 and we overwhelmed them. It was a Chris Porter team and we jumped up and over them. It was on Jefferson Pilot, and it had been a few years since we were relevant.

2/24/99 - Auburn was ranked #2. We won 104 - 88.

That must be it. I remember Derek Hood throwing one down and the place going nuts and Paul saying something about the crowd being up in arms. It was awesome.

Junkyard Hog

The NC game for obvious reasons.

Number 2 would be the Texas game when Nolan walked off the court and Mayberry won the game for us.  I can't stand Tom Penders.

Penders or not, most of us just cannot stand Texas.

Very excellent choice.

I also liked kicking the crap out of Duke in the preseason NIT on nat TV -- year ??  (The MayDay gang) Anytime you can embarrass a Kslfjodildjfl team on nat TV, in the Garden -- very sweet to me!!

That was a great team that went to the final four, but I actually think they peaked very early.  They were the best team in the country that night.

That would be the pre season NIT, November 21, 1990. UA won 98 - 88. Finished the year with a 34 - 4 record and a #2 AP ranking.

You beat me to it. That was my favorite Hog game too. I've been to several games at Rupp over the years and, unfortunately, the Hogs are winless in those games I've attended. So I would have loved to have been there when Pitino had them at the top of the mountain and we beat them where they were practically unbeatable.

I'll have to go with the final game at Barnhill.

I can't name just one but the Walton Arena dedication game versus Missouri was the first one I thought of.

After a little more thought I can think of several. Besides the obvious ones like the '94 national championship game or '84 North Carolina game, I can think of:

Arkansas vs. Texas A&M, early 80's - I can't remember what year it was, but Darrell Walker hit a jumper at the buzzer to beat A&M at College Station. I have never seen my dad happier. Maybe someone remembers what year it was.

February 4, 1990 - Arkansas 103, Texas 96 in overtime at Austin. The famous "Strollin' with Nolan" game. Thank you Lee Mayberry and Ernie Murry. Oh, and thanks to Lance Blanks for missing the front end of the one-and-one that would have sealed the game.

March 10, 1991 - Arkansas 120, Texas 89 in the final SWC Tournament championship for the Razorbacks. This was in the wake of the rape allegations against Todd Day, Roosevelt Wallace, Elmer Martin, and Darrell Hawkins AND Texas had prevented Arkansas from enjoying a perfect 16-0 record in the conference on the final day of the regular season.

January 11, 1992 - Arkansas 101, LSU 90 at Baton Rouge. Todd Day scores a career-high 43 points and Oliver Miller dishes out 12 assists as Nolan Richardson uses Miller to draw Shaquille O'Neal away from the basket and allows Day to wreak havoc in the paint and elsewhere.

January 25, 1992 - Arkansas 105, Kentucky 88 at Rupp Arena. 40 Minutes of hell is formally introduced to the Southeastern Conference. Pitino states years later that the arrival of Arkansas in the SEC forced every other coach in the conference, including him, to improve every area of their program. Arkansas shoots 50% from the field and makes 41 of 49 free throws. John Pelphrey had 22 points in a losing effort for Kentucky.

December 28, 1993 - Arkansas 129, Texas Southern 63 at Walton Arena. As thorough as the Missouri demolition had been a few weeks earlier, this was just as complete. This Razorback squad was a machine at this point.

February 9, 1994 - Arkansas 90, Kentucky 82 at Rupp Arena. Richardson still owned Pitino at this point. This game is notable for several things, including for Rick Pitino wearing cowboy boots in the first half that were given to him by Nolan Richardson and for Rodrick Rhodes performing his "strolling along the boardwalk" celebration after a hoop and harm which resulted in a technical foul that changed the course of the game.

At one point in the second half, Arkansas went on a 16-0 run that was in the midst of a 26-9 run to take a lead they would never relinquish and stop Kentucky's 33-game home-court winning streak.

March 2, 1994 - Arkansas 108, LSU 105 (OT) in Baton Rouge. Al Dillard drills a game-tying three at the end of regulation and Scotty Thurman sticks daggers into LSU in overtime. In some ways, this game was a prelude to the national championship game as Thurman nailed several deep threes that were taken while he was standing directly in front of Dale Brown, and were answers for made threes on the other end by LSU. "Cold-blooded" and "ice water in his veins" do not begin to describe Thurman on this night.

March 15, 2008 - Arkansas 92, Tennessee 91. Wayne Chism just Steven Hill'd.

GBoling5000

Ark vs Louisville, 1981 NCAA tournament (U.S. Reed shot to win, in case you don't remember).  Can't stand Denny Crum, so this game was personally satisfying.

2nd choice - Strollin Nolan game

My favorite game is the next one.
Looking forward to it is better than sex.
All those mentioned above were great, but the next one will be better. ;D
