Southern Miss is nasty this season. That pitching staff is awesome. Multiple 90+ fastballs from both sides and an excellent 1-4 batters. Lots like us without the pop.

Saw where Hess hit 94 in the 2nd inning, but it was a huge question whether he could be a starter or not.  Showed electric stuff as a closer, but couldn't hold velo and command was iffy.

Aside from just needing a body, moving him from that closer role makes no sense to me.
