After the loss to Texas A&M, Bielema's overall SEC record fell to 10-23. But just how bad are things? Let's break it down.

Bret Bielema's overall SEC winning percentage is .303. Who is the last head coach to post a worse percentage outside of John L you ask? Otis Douglas was the head coach at the University of Arkansas from 1950 until 1952. During that time he went 4-14 in SWC play for a winning percentage of .222. After I tracked down that little tidbit of information, I decided it was time to figure out exactly how Bielema's SEC record stacks up against other program's. So without further ado, I give you....

A list of each SEC program's last Head Coach to post a .303 conference winning percentage or worse, not including interim coaches:

-Alabama: Mike Shula (2003-06), 5-19 (.208)
-Arkansas: Bret Bielema (2013-present), 10-23 (.303)
-Auburn: Earl Brown (1948-50), 2-18-2 (.136)
-Florida: Raymond Wolf (1946-49), 2-17-2 (.143)
-Georgia: Frank Dobson (1909), 1-4-2 (.286)
-Kentucky: Joker Phillips (2010-12), 4-20 (.167)
-LSU: Mike Donahue (1923-27), 5-14-2 (.286)
-Ole Miss: Ed Orgeron (2005-07), 3-21 (.125)
-Mississippi State: Sylvester Croom (2004-08), 10-30 (.250)
-Missouri: Barry Odom (2016-present), 2-8 (.200)
-South Carolina: John D. McMillan (1945), 0-3-2 (.000) *SoCon member
-Tennessee: Derek Dooley (2010-12), 4-19 (.174)
-Texas A&M: Henry Foldberg (1962-64), 5-15-1 (.262) *SWC member
-Vanderbilt: Derek Mason (2014-present), 5-19 (.208)

Facts only.
Arkansas Football: It's the players running through the A, Hog Hats, and Big Red. It's more than 70,000 fans calling, "WOO PIG SOOIE!"

Arkansas Football: It's the State of Arkansas banding together behind one team, and a mascot like no other. Those select few who put on the jersey are... chosen. They wear the colors, they pay the price, and they succeed. They are exceptional, they are Razorbacks.

Together we stand as tall as the towers of Old Main. Our memories are etched in stone like names on Senior Walk. And our blood flows Razorbacks Red. For 100 years we've been Hogwild and today we continue the tradition.

We are Arkansas Razorbacks!

See, they fired him after only 2 seasons!

As much as they brag on Coach Croom at State I would have thought he won more than that .
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Ouch...........Being mentioned in the same lists as Derek Dooley, Mike Shula and Joker Phillips has to be painful to a coaches ego.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Wrong. Both Mike Donahue and Sylvester Croom coached at their respective places on the list five years. Also Derek Mason will probably join them in that feat. But thanks for trolling again!

A coach from the 20s, a coach at Mississippi State, and a coach from Vanderbilt aren't exactly the kind of company I wish to keep at the UofA.

Quite a few on the list were coaches before 99% of us were born! I will say that is not a list to be proud of being in no matter the historical time frame.
