Monday Morning Quarterback / Re: Unlimited coaches coming t...Last post by hogsanity - Today at 02:50:13 pmQuote from: Salty spork on Today at 07:55:13 amIf we have a completely unregulated pay system, then we have locked in a situation where a dozen or fewer teams have a shot and that will never change. So, pretty much what we've had for 50 years. The same teams year after year after year. I'm trying to find the article again but 2 or 3 years ago the top 20 from the same point 50 years ago had 18 of the 20 teams the same ( not in the same order ). Quote from: Salty spork on Today at 07:55:13 amI don't think that is what bothers us either. Yes, and nil and transfers are the current scapegoats. Replacing accusations of teams cheating and conferences favoring one team over another. People are always looking for someone or something to blame when their team isn't as good as they hoped. 2
OmaHOGS - Extra Innings,The Road to Omaha / Re: Weather outlook for Thursd...Last post by Birminghog - Today at 02:47:24 pmYep, it's likely to change, but for conversation:
85% Thursday - "Evening: Thunderstorms likely in the evening ..." 45% Friday - "Evening: Variable clouds with thunderstorms, especially during the evening ..." 30% Saturday - "Day: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms ..." It's the lightning part of the thunderstorms, of course, that impacts more than anything else. I'm thinking a doubleheader Friday or Saturday. With the tournament starting Tuesday, they will not push anything to Sunday. Please, Lord, no ties for 1st in the SEC West. 3
OmaHOGS - Extra Innings,The Road to Omaha / Re: National SeedLast post by Grizzlyfan - Today at 02:46:27 pmIf we had lost on Sunday and then lost 2 or, heaven forbid, 3 at A & M it would take a mighty showing at the SEC tournament to maintain a top 8 seed.
Point being, that come from behind win on Sunday was HUGE. 4

JB Carol what's your take. 5
OmaHOGS - Extra Innings,The Road to Omaha / Re: National SeedLast post by AUSTXHOG - Today at 02:37:30 pmQuote from: Boardon Hamsay on Today at 12:33:27 pmWe could lose the atm series via sweep and still get a top 8 seed from our broader body of work. Winning one at atm would amount to a fan mental security win.Not going to lie... we win that first game, and the remaining games will be far less mentally stressful on me. Yet I do want to sweep. Really dislike the aggies. 6

Especially when there is a national award for best player who started his career as a walk-on named after a Razorback. 10
