That's what simple minded fans care about, but it isn't an accurate judge on if someone is a good AD or not.

Jeff has done an great job. He's been an excellent representative of the university as the CFP leader.

Everyone is looking for wins and losses for sure, but he's guided the school through some crazy times and we've came out making money and gaining fans.

Just would love to see the results on the field and court for the 2 marquee sports.

But if it doesn't happen, it was no fault of Jeff's. Mike and Bret were good hires. Period.

Wins and losses in the 2 big sports is NOT part of the AD job description. The AD is responsible for the entire athletic department. And the athletic department at the U of A is very healthy.

Well, indirectly.  He obviously got the same email from Jeff Long that I got today.

Most of what you are giving Father Jeff credit for should be attributed to our incredible fanbase. Arkansas has money and support - which further makes the product on the field appalling. This testifies to the level of our program and further proves that our coaches aren't performing.

I give Jeff credit for bringing our athletics department into the 21st century. We were behind under Frank...but the attendance and the giving and all that other stuff he doesn't get to put on his resume. We did that in spite of him and in spite of what our overpaid coaches are producing.

However, it all depends on what your perspective is.

Either way, wins and titles are not the job of the ad. Based on what an AD is supposed to do, he is doing a excellent job.

I'd love to go back and see these figures from the Pre-Long era. I wonder how much it's actually different under his leadership.

Besides, our fans deserve the credit more than he does. They contributed in spite of the on the field/court products we are getting from the major sports from the bad hires he's made

You might want to look at what Anderson and CBB has accomplished which isn't much of anything. Both of them his hires not to mention the crazy buyout for CBB. There are LOTS of AD's around the country who could do the same things he touts BECAUSE the entire state of Arkansas supports the Razorbacks. Jeff Long is highly overrated.

But he does have the responsibility of hiring those who are responsible for "wins and titles". In that regard, he has failed.
