Mark Davis Leads Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of Year Race

Mt.Ida angler Mark Davis finished in 3rd place this weekend on the St. John's River in Florida and now leads the points race for angler of the year on the Bassmaster Elite Series. The series now heads closer to home with the next three events at Table Rock, Toledo Bend and Lake Dardanelle. Davis has won the coveted angler of year three times and is a legend in the industry. Little Rock's Scott Rook finished in 19th place and had the big bass on Saturday (9 lbs). Chris Lane won this weekend by a huge margin and had a 37 lb. day (5 bass) on Friday. Let's hope Davis can keep the momentum and send him some Hogville karma! Good fishin!!!
