Scoota led the way with 5 tackles, all of them solo and one for a TFL.

Grant Morgan was 2nd with 5 total tackles, 2 solo.

Agim was third with 4 total tackles, 3 of them solo including a tfl.

Richardson was the only DB in the top 4 with 4 tackles and 3 of them were assists.

Curl (3 solo) and Walker (1 solo) round up the rest of the team with more than 2 total tackles.

Always good to see LB and DL players at the top of the stat sheet. Shows that plays weren't making it much to the second level.

Some other stats: We had 6 TFL's, which out of 56 total tackles, made up almost 11% of our tackles. Half of those were sacks. We forced one turnover which Toliver took back for a td. Freshmen Morgan and Curl accounted for our 2 PBU's while J. Marshall accounted for both of our qb hurries.

Harris, Agim, Ramsey, Eugene, and Hall each had a TFL with Guidry and Marshall splitting the 6th. Ramsey, Eugene, and Hall each got a sack. Their qb was sacked about once in every 10 pass attempts. Last year we hit at about once every 16 drop backs. 2014 was actually even worse in terms of sacks, but that year averaged 6.2 tfl per game, so we are on pace for that.

Some more team stats, we held the rattlers to under 100 passing yards and just 3.3 yards per attempt. We held to just 80 yards rushing at 2.6 ypc as well. We did give up 2 20+ yard plays. 1 reception for 23 yards and 1 run for 26. If you remove the qb, we gave up 3.8 ypc. If you only factor out the sacks, we gave up 3.6 ypc. We gave up 4 total plays of 10+ yards with 2 of them going for 10 exactly.

Was a solid performance given the level of competition. TCU will test us in every phase.

Also, right now we are #1 in the nation in total yards allowed and #3 in points allowed.

If you take out the stats for FAMU's TD drive, which was against 3rd and 4th teamers, the stats are even more impressive.
