If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

I saw that game. Miss. Had an unreal defense but I'll tell ya UCon made some dumb mistakes too. They missed several ft's down the stretch, but I thought UCon would pull it out with that fragrant one call. I am still not sure that girl with the ball that was driving wasn't fouled after the ft's, but I don't know why she did that with 12 seconds left. Oh well, they had a great year, what 35-1? Not too shabby.
"If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always. Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.

And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.

You know, that description actually works pretty well!

lol smart ass. I never would have noticed that. I have computers all over the place but I always use this stupid phone for some reason. I can just barely see the phone, let alone the letters, lol. I guess it's from when I was a bondsman a couple of years ago, got used to using the phone.
