Roy Williams is "hopeful" he'll play tomorrow. Will not practice today. Sounds like he won't be 100% if he plays.

Berry said he was limping this morning, but is much better this afternoon. He said he is about 75-80% right now and expects to play but it will not be up to him. Him missing would give us a real chance.

If he is slowed some it helps.

Carolina struggles when he just gets in foul trouble.

Please prepare yourself, he will play and he will be 100%

I believe he has had injury issues off and on all season.

Here's wishing him a full recovery in the offseason!   :razorback: :razorback: :razorback:

Pretty sure he will play tomorrow but I have no inside info, just a wild guess.

He is going to play. You can book that.

wavybone

I bet he will play but he won't be 100%.

PorkRinds

He will have an MVP type performance. That's how these things usually work out for us.

He will most probably be like one legged Dak Prescott was for MS ST.  Kill us.

His injury was bad enough yesterday that he left the game and never came back. I was wondering why nobody was talking about this!  I started to make a thread about it last night. If he is out (or limited), that's HUGE!

I was in Vegas at the beginning of the basketball season and they had a big tournament out there the weekend I was there. That's when Kentucky was playing North Carolina. I saw tons of Kentucky fans walking around in their gear, but I was surprised when I saw even more North Carolina fans. I talked to some of the Carolina fans about the game because I wanted to bet on them against Kentucky, and I remember the fans saying that if Berry was playing, they definitely liked North Carolina; but if Berry wasn't going to play, they didn't like their chances. In their opinion, whether Berry played or not made that much of a difference whether they were a good team or not. So it sounded like he was the straw that stirs the drink.
If he can't go, I'm telling you, that's huge.

been hearing that about this guy, many calling him the heart and soul of the team.

I'm wondering how much of it's a recurring thing, and how much it affects him when he plays.

looking at his last  two games,  he played 22 minutes against Duke in the ACCCG,  was 3 for 8 shooting.

He played 21 minutes yesterday and went 1-8.

I'm thinking a sore ankle doesn't help a jump shot a whole lot,  nor does a helter skelter game help a sore ankle.

This may give us a slugger's chance,  we have to shoot well, better than yesterday.

Anyone know anything yet or will this be a game time decision?

He'll play, but he won't be 100%. Doesn't mean he can't be effective. And it sure doesn't change the dynamic of the game to any great extent. I still think Arkansas is going to have a tough time keeping pace with the Tar Heels. I'll be really happy if it's just a solid game and we keep it competitive down to the end.

Ironically, Barford was the unfortunate recipient of the leg sweep in the last game.
