The crowd was insane. Marlins could only ever hope to get a crowd like that. Awesome atmosphere for a WBC game.

Nope, that honor is co-owned by Perry Costello....Arkansas v Arizona St  and in the NL playoffs game 7   Atlanta v Miami   Eric Gregg (RIP) was the worst at balls and strikes in the history of the game..the Braves players needed telephone polls to hit the pitches called strikes supposedly on the outside black of the plate...I'll try to find some footage via youtube of just how bad it was

The announcer made numerous references to Eric Gregg last night.  It was bad, but not as bad as the video you posted.

Drew is pitching well so far.....Given up an unearned run on 3 hits through 4. Looking strong.

USA has the team this year to finally win it all. Hopefully they can pull it off. The atmosphere seemed great tonight. The replays of that Adam Jones catch were awesome, him high above the wall taking away a homerun with USA flags flying all around him. If I were him I'd have that picture blown up and hung on the wall of my trophy room.

USA has a real shot this time. I do think if MLB really wants to promote this tournament, they are going to have to work with teams to get the best Americans out there. Can you imagine our team with the addition of Mike Trout, Bryce Harper, Clayton Kershaw, etc?
