Kasey Hill knows it could be over in just two games.

There also could be plenty of basketball remaining for him and the Florida Gators.

Much of UF's chances during the postseason will rest on the shoulders of Hill, whose inefficient play of late is a cause for concern entering Friday's SEC Tournament quarterfinals against Vanderbilt.

When Hill makes sound decisions, the Gators are a tough out. When he is erratic, anything can happen.

Hill has 11 assists and 18 turnovers during the past five games, two of the them losses.

"He's better than that," UF coach Mike White said. "He's got to stop pressing offensively. He's got to just settle in a little bit. He's got to get back to the decision-making he was making a month ago."

A month ago, the No. 17 Gators (24-7) were on a roll and Hill was playing the best basketball during his college career.

While I realize that stranger things have happened and that Vandy has been on a late season roll, odds are that to beat UF a THIRD time this season goes against the odds. I believe this time around the swamp reptiles find a way to prevail.
