Bama will sign at least one quarterback in the Class of 2018, but who the Crimson Tide will pick up remains a mystery.

Crimson Tide extended an offer to 4-star Centennial High School (Corona, Calif.) quarterback Tanner McKee.

Bama has only two offers out to uncommitted quarterbacks in the Class of 2018 McKee and 4-star dual-threat quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Its possible that the Tide may have to flip a quarterback whos currently committed elsewhere.

One of those QBs may be Auburn commit Joey Gatewood. Gatewood, whos rated as the nations No. 3 athlete from Bartram Trail High...

Bohanon, a 6-foot-4 and 215-pound athlete, [is scheduled to] arrive at Auburn on Friday for a weekend visit on the Plains. It will be his first time on campus since receiving his offer on Jan. 24. He has camped at Auburn on two other occasions...

Bohanon is listed as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback in the 2018 class. He holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and others. Some schools are still evaluating Bohanon as an athlete...

The players are ranked the No. 1 and No. 2 overall prospects in the state of Alabama for the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. Webb, from Oxford (Ala.), holds the top spot and ranks at No. 37 overall in the nation. Quick, from Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.), is second in Alabama and No. 106 among all 2019 prospects.

Both were standouts at the Nike Opening camp in Atlanta last month. The following week, they both received invitations to the Under Armour Future 50 camp along with another Auburn target, quarterback Bo Nix.

Could all 3 end up at the same school?

Theyve talked about it with one another, though its too early for all to decide. If they do land at the same place, there is a good chance it will be great news for Auburn or Alabama and devastating news for the other.

I just love the people there, Webb said. The coaches and players are so nice and friendly. It just feels like home. Coach Hand reminds me a lot of a coach I used to have that I loved from high school who retired.

LSU remains the team to beat for the blue-chip corner, who has garnered a bevy of offers this spring. That includes teams such as Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas Tech...

Hewitt-Trussville was the first stop, just two days after rising junior offensive tackle Pierce Quick committed to Alabama.

The Huskies have a quarterback battle going. Another class of 2019 recruit, Paul Tyson, is the guy to watch as everyone knows by now that he's the great-grandson of Paul "Bear" Bryant. Tyson is 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, can make all the throws per his head coach and says he's improved his foot speed to 4.9.

MOUNTAIN BROOK
Harold Joiner is the spotlight recruit. He's already a four-star player with plenty of FBS offers. LSU is his leader, because LSU sees him as a running back. And Joiner wants to play running back at the next level.

HOOVER
Coming off its Class 7A state championship, Hoover will again have several prospects.

Receiver Shedrick Jackson, the nephew of Bo Jackson, is the headliner.

Kicker Barret Pickering has offers from Nebraska and Vanderbilt.

JACKSON-OLIN
Four-star defensive lineman Coynis Miller is the main attraction, but Vakakes, who coached the Mustangs to their first playoff berth in 17 years last fall, has more.

Pads were popping all over, but the best battles were with the 6-foot-3, 290-pound Miller and class of 2019 recruit Treveon Pickens, a 6-foot-1, 300-pound offensive lineman. Miller was better, but Pickens showed very well in front of Alabama offensive line coach Brent Key.

Receiver A.J. Toney, at 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds, is extremely fast and will get recruited in the 2019 class. The next headliner name from Jackson-Olin is class of 2020 linebacker Quanderrius Robinson, who is already 6-foot-4 and 197 pounds.
