Do you think these 2 offensive power houses will rack up 35.5 points ?

Both show to have good defenses, so I would guess another battle under 30.

What do you think the over-under will be with Hawg vs Dawgs...........45 ?

COCHISE

Wow, that's a tough one.  At 35.5 I think I'd still have to take the over, I'm thinking 20-17

SPAL

over..even buying the line up to 36 is 18 points each way. you know one team willbe in the 20's...that leaves little room for error. I just wouldnt play it.

If I had to bet, I would go with the over. Even in a defensive game 35.5 is pretty low. Special team points and defensive points can mess you up on the under.
Life is full of uncertainty, but I could be wrong about that.

Go under.  Look at the series.  Only twice since 1998 have 35.5  points been scored.  2004 they combined for 36, in 2003 they combined for 38

2008 Georgia 14 South Carolina 7
2007 South Carolina 16 Georgia 12
2006 Georgia 18 South Carolina 0
2005 Georgia 17 South Carolina 15
2004 Georgia 20 South Carolina 16
2003 Georgia 31 South Carolina 7
2002 Georgia 13 South Carolina 7
2001 South Carolina 14 Georgia 9
2000 South Carolina 21 Georgia 10
1999 Georgia 24 South Carolina 9
1998 Georiga 17 South Carolina 3

Under is an easy bet.  I'd be shocked if they would get beyond 28.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

14-10 GA.  Two anemic offenses v. two top 10 defenses.  Seems too easy.

SPAL

now that i think about it...isnt UGA going to be using a new QB?...that willplay into it as well. The under may be the bet.

Coach Obvious

SC could only score 7 against NC State. No offense to speak of.

Georgia only scored 10 against a pretty good Okie State defense. But I'd be willing to bet SC's D is as good as Okie State's.

I don't think they'll go over 35 pts., but stranger things have happened. If the Georgia O clicks well with the freshman QB, they could put up a few points.

But if SC's defense puts the fear into that young QB, it could be a very low-scoring affair.

Either way, I don't think you will see many points out of Spurrier's bunch.

solix

just checked...most books are pulling it now with supposed benchings

SPAL

they have also scratched the line period..

I don't bet the over/under often, and for many years I haven't bet the under at all. Too many things can go wrong when you bet the under. For instance this game is 21-17 and still in the first half.

Err, now I know it's easy to bash Shiloh Christian, but I'm pretty there aren't that many high schools in Arkansas that have a player picked in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft.
Or have you forgotten where Damian Williams played school?

I know what you mean.  It's been the sour note in my weekend so far.
