Since I was out of pocket at the game this weekend, I didn't get these set up for the opening weekend. Getting this weeks, game discussion threads up early :)

The Gators will hang 60+ on the little men from Troy!
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Two teams we play facing off. Florida has punted on their first 2 possessions. Troy's D-line looks good

Watching FL and Troy ... still in the 1st Qt...

Can't decide whether Florida's offense is stalling or Troy's D is actually pretty good.  It looks like the Troy D is playing fast and aggressive.  Anyone else watching this?

Florida just recovered a fumble.

Do you think of Troy upsets UF, Tebow will make the "Promise 2.0" and Urban will make predict that they "WILL beat Arkansas this year..."?

chiefsfan

Troy is not a bad team.  They have a bad habbit of playing down to the level of bad teams

Got destroyed by a Bowling Green team last week that had no business beating them
Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

The Last FL-Troy thread was moved.  When the Hogs have an off week why not leave game threads on MMQB.  There's not much else going on on the board except 5 different threads about games on TV, the SEC Network, DISH, Gameplan etc.  Why not move those.  And leave up the game threads they are much more interesting.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

Certainly not my decision, but was just thinking the same thing. The game threads would get much more action in MMQB. Easier to follow the game threads and follow other football related posts in one forum. Not being smart, but where will the USC/OSU game thread be set-up?

Bryan (CHF)

Guys we have an SEC Sports board for a reason. These threads have been up for a week now and every week, the SEC games will have their threads here. MMQB is for Razorback Football. This board was set up to give us a place to have these threads without crowding up MMQB and having 100 people hit report to moderator saying "this isn't about Razorback sports."

As far as USC-Ohio State, there is already a game thread active on the General Sports Forum will all USC news ends up already (since we tend to have a lot on HV).

Troy is solid, but the 2nd half will usually wear them down against big-time opponents.

  That said, they look good.

It's extremely easy to look at every new and updated topic at once, without shoving it all on the wrong board.

USC/OSU will be in General Sports, where it belongs.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Thanks for the response...Understand completely how MMQB becomes clustered on Gameday. Makes sense, just more noticeable today since the Hogs aren't playing.

If they can get the offense calmed down and clicking a little bit, they might be able to hang around.

Man Troy's D-Line looks good... has the O-line been a problem for Florida?

I think they came in a little over confident. The rain has things a little out of sorts too. And Troy's players got embarrassed last week, so they came in ready to play.

Your son plays for Troy?

Troy is a dangerous team for anyone to play.  There's a reason Urban Meyer said that they have more NFL talent than several SEC teams.  That being said, Florida is playing sloppy, but so is Troy.  I think we'll wear 'em down in the 2nd half though with our depth.  I wouldn't mark them down as a sure win yet fellas, they have a lot of playmakers.  And here's an article of what Meyer said, in case you wanted to see it..

Dang, gotta execute that FG.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing little timmy crying after a loss to Troy.

They're replacing both starting OTs.  That's not easy.

It seems like the rain is really affecting things or is it just complete sloppiness?

We should be able to throw all day on Troy's defense.

HOGSWEAT

Yeah their secondary looks rough.  Now the meltdown begins.

selfexplanatory

Well that trick play on 4th and 1 by Troy blew up in their face.

Err, now I know it's easy to bash Shiloh Christian, but I'm pretty there aren't that many high schools in Arkansas that have a player picked in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft.
Or have you forgotten where Damian Williams played school?

3kgthog

So far Troy's coach has written a lot of checks with his mouth that his player's aren't even close to cashing. Assuming we don't have a huge letdown we should bend them over our knee and spank them by at least 28.

Bryan (CHF)

Troy had a few high points but boy this one got ugly quick.

I don't know what aggravates me more......the announcers with their lips firmly planted on Tebows hiney, or the fact that everything they're saying about him is true.....The dude is a beast for sure.
