Well looks like I lost my profits from this afternoon.  How Army scored 27 points and won is beyond me.  Usually they suck and Va Tech doesn't have a run defense so F them.

I ended up taking Cincy +5 for one unit.  and I played cincy head up 1 unit to win 1 1/2....unfortunately I lost a half unit on the total.

Tonight I have MIami +6 and over 48 on total   It is halftime and gonna be close on both.

Luckily Memphis was not my big play so I'm still up a decent amount to start the season.

I'll probably be taking the next few weeks off from here...my mother had been in the hospital for about a week and a half, and as I was leaving Best Buy in West LR on my way to the ballgame, I got the call from UAMS....about a week or 10 days left.....total surprise and absolutely devastating.....

Man I am sooo sorry to hear it.  and its odd.  My mother has never had a health problem.  She spent a week in hospital with what they think is a stroke but they can't say for sure. They sent her home.  Been here with her the last week never leaving for more than 20 mins.  she cant get in or out of bed or to restroom.....been a huge blow.

My prayers are with you and your family.  Please do the same for me.

had an ok weekend went 12-5, hit a four team parlay and thought I'd break even for the weekend, but hit a nice payout on a three game parlay with Miami as a straight up winner in there. So good weekend.

So far for this week, Iowa over ISU looks pretty solid @ -6 1/2---

USC @ -7 over OSU (book this one early)

Miss St. +14 over Auburn

UNC -4 1/2 over UConn

Hawaii -1 over Wash St

Miami (OH) +37 over Boise St

That Ms. State is RISKY! and I think Boise will cover their defense is dang good this year and you know they are gonna hang 50 on Miami.  I would take Boise.
