That was a good pitch.   excellent changeup on a 3-2 pitch that Lyons swung through.

Good hit by Wilkins

No excuse.  Gotta get a runner in from 3rd with 1 out.  Luckily it didn't matter because Wilkins came through.

It looks like the stadium might be 1/2 full and that seems to be pushing it.

To be fair to Lyons  there wasnt a runner on 3rd till the pitch before.  hard to suddenly change your approach 1 pitch later

Sometimes pitchers actually do their job.

Sometimes hitters do as well.  If that pitcher gave up that run, he should be saying that he didn't do his job by holding the runner at 3rd.

Who do you think has been the most consistent Diamond Hog this year?

My vote is Andy Wilkins.

If that situation was turned around you would be giving all the credit to DK......you can't just expect the odds to only play into your teams favor. I see your point, but even the best hitters in the game only do their job 3 or 4 times out of 10. The pitcher will win 6 or 7 times out of 10. Just think of that as one of the 6 or 7 times the pitcher will win.

How many pitches will it take for cisterna to strike out?

Amityvillehogger

Is it bad that I've already chalked up Cisterna for an out.

Of course I would because I'm a Razorback fan and would enjoy Dallas striking out a hitter in that situation.  But in the back of my mind I would also be disgusted at the job the hitter did if I was a fan of the other team.  But enough...Wilkins came through and it's 1-0 Hogs and I'm happy.

Ohhhh how I love the baseball experts in this thread
aren't you the guy that said it was "sound baseball" to sacrifce bunt a runner from 2nd to 3rd with 0 OUTS ?  lol..man, i'd keep quiet if that's the most profound I could be

How many infield outs is that so far? Seems like DK has all the control he can use today.

I have tried that one 3 times and it won't work.  Either my connection or computer won't handle it.  Too bad no stations here in NEA carry them

Haha no, you said no one has ever done that....I simply stated and gave facts to prove that MLB teams have and do currently play like that. You need to go somewhere else if your looking for an argument. You arguing baseball with me is like a 10 year old arguing philosophy
