Clint!? That was one game man, he is an all time great.

What were the guys name from Texas? Johnny "Ham" Jones and Johnny "Lam" Jones? Oh, and to keep it in the Jones family ... how about Tony Jones, the guy who caught the last second, game-winning TD against us in LR in 1987.

how about the stupid o'bannon bros
damn. I can't believe nobody's mentioned them. Even without Tyus Edney they were able to beat us. It's interesting how no players off of that UCLA team or off of our team ever made it big in the NBA. If I'm not mistaken Corliss is the only one that had a successful career, and he was never an All-Star.

That UCLA team and that 95 Arkansas team were both very good.

Do you ever wonder if USC has a list like this?

I'm sure their list would sound like this:

1. Vince Young
I have 10 to 12 points to make per game.

Junkyard Hog

Todd Day and I hated playing against grand ma ma.

I bet he made a lot of money that game too. More money than he will ever make being a commentator, that is for damn sure.

Clarence Caesar - a lefty - those were always great games and we always won

We did win, but it wasn't from lack of effort from him.  He could play.  I wonder why he didn't move on to the NBA.

The one that always sticks out in my mind is that little guard from Ole Miss...Harrison, I think

What made it doubly worse was...

Ole Miss - Keith ??? (from Perryville)

Keith Carter.  I share your pain on it.

Another one from Kentucky I dreaded playing against was Scott Padgett.
Pts/Game: 122nd
Rebounds/Game: 208th
Assists/Game:  240th

Basketball -
Alabama - Robert Horry/Latrell Sprewell
Auburn - Wesley Person
LSU - Ronnie Henderson
Ole Miss - Keith ??? (from Perryville)
Miss. St. - Dante Jones
Florida - Joakim Noah
Georgia - Jumaine Jones
Kentucky - Jared Prickett/Jeff Sheppard/Tony Delk/Keith Bogan/too many others to name
Tennessee - Any guy who wears a headband
Vanderbilt - I cannot remember the guy's name, but he was a transfer pt.gd. from Duke I believe and he was fricking good.  Early to mid 90's?
Texas - Travis Mays/Lance Blanks
UCLA - Tyus Edney/Cameron Dollar/Toby Bailey/O'Bannon Bros.
UMASS- Lou Roe/Marcus Camby
Michigan - All of the fab 5
Arizona - Reggie Geary

I have a lot of hate in my heart.

I think the Duke/Vandy guy you're thinking of is Billy McCaffrey, brother of the Broncos "Easy" Ed McCaffrey...And yeah, he was freaking good

Tennessee Basketball:  RON SLAY

I agree to the nth degree on this one...I hated that guy with the fire of a thousand suns. I remember, it was either my sophomore or junior year, 2000-2001 season I think, and we had them at home...Slay made a good play or two early and he started with the theatrics he always pulled and the entire student section started chanting "Slay is gay" and we continued to do it for the next two-and-a half hours. It would have been funny anyway, but it was especially funny because he kept looking over at us, so we knew he heard it. We got on Tony Harris pretty good too...And we eventually won in OT on the back of one of Joe Johnson's best games as a Hog.

Good times.

For those of us old enough to remember the 1969 Shootout, Texas QB, James Street.  Arkansas was leading 14-0 going into the 4th Quarter of the biggest game in Razorback history.  Street pulls off the two biggest plays of his career to crush the dreams of Razorback fans for years to come.  That, my friends, is an opponent you hate to play against!

Another one that comes to mind are the refs

Especially the SWC refs. And those Arkansas kids that played for Ole Miss in BB.

Earl Campbell was the most dominating back to ever play against Arkansas

I can see how other teams would feel the same about D-Mac

Peyton Manning and D-Mac were the two greatest players to never win the Heisman

Although Arkansas beat ole p*ss, I'm glad Patrick Willis is gone

If Trindon Holliday passes up his senior season, I would be grateful
Good is the enemy of great

MusicCityHog75

Dante Womack.  Anyone remember the PA kid who Arkansas snuffed.  He went on to SMU and ran all over us when they beat us!

Blutoblutarsky

Wesley Pearson, Jason Witten after the 6 ot heartbreak in Knoxville.  and the cross bar at Neyland!

jwhite_13

John Parker Wilson! Simply because I HATE hearing all three names EVERY TIME!

Either Steele (Alabama), Cadillac Williams (Auburn) or the Jones brothers (Ham, Lam, Jam from Texas).  Oh yeah, EARL CAMPBELL!

Ref in the SMU who was the motivation for all those tasty bumper stickers.

I didn't know it until right before halftime, but I quickly found an intense hatred for Michael Irvin in the 87 Miami massacre. He and I are not on each other's Christmas card list.

Larry Johnson was the only hoops player I feared during Nolan's big run - he was the only guy who was clearly better than what Nolan had to offer. That whole UNLV bunch was pretty easy to not like.

I don't have problems with players, so much. I hate those games when you know you are going to be slaughtered: USC under Pete Carroll, for example.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. I'd love to play Jimmy Clausen!!! ;)

How about SMU and Little Rock's own Dante Womack going nuts on us a couple of times.  Seemed like he had a vendetta against us (and he probably did).

I hated seeing Chris Lofton coming on the court.

Joking Noah, just because.

Earl Campbell makes me shudder to this day.

Patrick Willis - I'm glad he's gone

Trendon Holliday - I hope he beats the rookie salary restrictions by going early.

I think Temple is still running around the cotton bowl.

Jay Cutler - It was like he knew we were helpless to stop him.

The whole USC team.
