Duke holds the NCAA record for most losses to lower-seeded opponents in the NCAA Tournament.

Unfortunately, it's really not a black mark on them, just a side effect of how many games they've played.

Worst % of losses to lower-seeded opponents / total NCAAT appearances (10 minimum tournament appearances):

60% Georgia
46% DePaul
45% Purdue
44% LSU
41% Missouri
40% St. Joseph's
39% Texas
38% Ohio State
38% Memphis
37% Oklahoma
37% Florida
37% Stanford

Lowest %:

9% Seton Hall
12% Connecticut
13% Michigan State
14% Louisville
16% Utah
17% Kansas
18% Arkansas
19% UNLV
20% North Carolina
20% Duke

Among schools with few NCAAT appearances, Oregon State has been upset in five of its seven games.  Washington has a 5-of-9 mark.

Other notables:  Tulsa, 4 of 8; Mississippi State and Kansas State, 4 of 9.  Nebraska, 3 of 3.
