SEC officiating used to be highly lauded.

Now it's highly laughed at.

VandyHog

Let's hope there are different refs for next week.  Geeeeez

Dwight_K_Shrute

Anyone have a hard time hearing the announcers.  the mic's don't work well so far up Saban's a$$
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

For those who think we will be able to run all over Alabama, they have held Vanderbilt to 45 yards rushing.

Held Vanderbilt.  Woohoo!

Vandy's QB is running on a bad hammy, and their primary offensive weapon is a WR.     We'll still be able to run all day on Bama.

By the way, Vandy is much better than Troy.

VandyHog

Vandy has been playing amazing defense. They have to with as many opportunities as Bama has been given.

Bet Troy plays Florida closer than Vandy does.

I bet they don't.  I bet Troy will lose by 30 plus points.

VandyHog

Vandy has played Florida to within 7 the last two years.

Tusks

I think that hootens razorbacks are going to have their hands full next week.  Saban already has influenced bama....they look better as a team.

When you follow shula your first goal is to just get the team to line up right and have their jerseys on rightside out.....so far he's done that.
sometimes it's a good and some times it's a schit

With Chris Leak, the rich man's Reggie Ball, running the show.    Florida's going to score a lot more points this year.

Didn't Leak graduate already?  Tebow's running Florida's offense.

VandyHog

Nah, the Florida-Vandy game will be close because Bama's refs won't be there.

Are you watching the game? Bama looks craptastic right now.

Yep, their D is decent their offense isn't much better than last year.  They may pull away from Vandy in the second half, but they wouldn't have stuff if it weren't for a punt return and the refs.

I agree.  I think Arkansas will be able to run it right down their throats from what I've seen so far.

Agree with you 100%. If it werent for the refs, Vandy would probably be leading right now. JPW has been horrible so far(compared to last year, he should have 3 INT's so far). Their secondary is looking pretty stout though. Grant is also a heck of a running back.

As for Vanderbilt, Nickson looks horrible. Their punter is teh suck, and their offensive coordinator is HORRIBLE. Probably another losing season for Vandy.

Should be a good game next week.

Don't know what game your watching but Bama looks terrible. Not impressed with John Parker Wilson either...

Bucksnort

Agree - Bama's D doesn't look very good  today.  Jones and Mac should have a great day.

REALTOR Hog

Hey I liked Chris Leak... I'd kill for Chris Leak to play for Arkansas...

But anyways, this game is one of those boring SEC games on the boring SEC channel that looks like a dump. John Parker Wilson has a lot more confidence than he did last year. DJ Hall and Keith Brown are good receivers who will pick on our cornerbacks.. I'm scared of Alabama, but their running game doesn't look that good so I think we can stop them. Just as long as we can stop the pass we can win. But we gotta get some good pass plays going at the beginning like we did at Auburn last year (that one pass to monk when he ran it in for a TD) Just one big play and we can beat Alabama.

Thats just what I have noticed so far.

And those of you posting on here.. We want Alabama to win so they will be undefeated when we play them. DUH!

Haha, I have seen Tiffin make that face more than once.

Bucksnort

wide right. oh oh sorry its short

klundq02

JPW can't hit anyone thats not in the flats or a dump pass, kinda like another quarterback I know...

FootballHog

oooh...sorry Tiffin...so close

Immensehog

Alabama looks as one dimensional as we do, but with less talent on offense.

Life is short.  Act accordingly.

elkhog

Tippen still in rare form!
GO HOGS!!!

slopinhogs

if you think bAMA WILL EAT OUR LUNCH NEXT WEEK,you must be seeing something that i don't bama has holes in it's offencive line. have a fair defencive line no running back with any sped and john parker wilson just throws the ball up for grabs to many times. i think we should take Bama i'd say 28 to 10 :razorback:
win lose or tie i'll call the hogs till i die

Dwight_K_Shrute

Vandy's back up QB looks like a better passer than Nickson.  They had 2nd and 19 and almost have the first after an almost TO.  They are completing shorter passes.

There is a better game on ESPN --> Nebraska 20 / Wake 17 with 12:00 left in the 4th.

Nebraska is a lot like us, except with a better quarterback, better receivers, and a better head coach. But other then that, they are red and white and have Adidas jerseys. :)

Big O, we can win this game next week, I think possibly without 1/4back throw.  they dont look so hot to me.  Of course, I havent seen us play... Ive only heard us play.

I hope we are a 14 point fav.

FootballHog

At least David Lee isnt the worst OC in the SEC. Vandy's is horrible.

Reaganite

I wonder if Tiffin will freak out next week at home.  Playing Arkansas will be a nice trip down memory lane for him.  You know how fragile a kickers psyche can be.

hardcorehogfan

john parker will eat are secondary up if we don't put pressure on him.

pignosticator

If Bama's recievers could hold on to the ball, this would be a different game.

The Grant kid looks pretty good for Bama! How'd he do last week?

VandyHog

He did well last week too.  He's definitely a good one.

Just wait till David Lee splices this film. I am certain we won't even have to practice this week.

hardcorehogfan

did you watch the troy game?

blue

I did hardcore, we are in trouble against bama.

klundq02

I don't get it...why are we in so much trouble??

Qbackinman

I'm not concerned about Bama anymore.

I'm going back to what I said early: We're getting Bama early enough that Saban won't have them ready.

The Tide look pretty mediocre today.

Agreed.   I expected a lot more out of the Alabama offense than I saw today, and the late score is more attributable to having given up 22 first downs to having earned 4 by Vandy.    When you're over 60 defensive plays before the beginning of the 4th Q, you are in trouble.

Because we are very good at one thing, and one thing only.Plus we are at their place, which will account for wasted timeouts and delays. I also think their wide recievers have had a terrible day today.
