  • But the thing is Knoxville just ain't that big to be so. Constipated.

It is unfortunate that NWA is catching up in that regard.

    Somehow this is Rev's fault....

Yeah, drove down to Monterrey and Carmel on one trip to SF, the coast ride was beautiful. On the trip back I thought I'd make up some time and went the San Jose, Palo Alto way, big mistake.

This was 280 or 285, whatever the interstate on the coast side of town. The drives up to Napa and back were always pretty easy, I even ventured into Oakland once to say I'd been there.

You are as likely to see good T/A at a restaurant as you are at the Tulsa collection of strip joints. Better to sit at the bar at the Hard Rock Casino by yourself and see if you can attract a working girl. She might give you a coupon for the all-you-can-eat buffet when you finish upstairs with her.

I had a girl approach me at the River Spirit one night. She said she charged some rate for hair dressing services and gave me her number. I was keeping my hair in a buzz cut at the time.

  • I have a huge favor to ask you road warriors. I pride myself on making as many road games as I can and really enjoy visiting with Razorback fans on the road. I enjoy road games much more than home games.. It seems like those that travel are more in the game. I can't imagine if RRS was filled with road hogs.. The noise would be insane..
Anyway.. I usually order through the ticket office and end up with the worst possible seats in the house. I rarely get to sit down low unless I travel to the venue and gamble on buying from a scalper. Do any of you get lower level tickets when traveling to a road game? And if so would you please PM me in the future? I would be most appreciative. I can promise you that myself and friends would represent in your place very well.  :)   The 2 games that we really want to go to is TCU and Auburn. I would be more than happy to purchase them from you.  Thanks in advance and God Bless

Ha! Starship Records and Tapes (shows it's age) used to be the best record store in OK. There was a "gift shop" next door with loads of bongs and other paraphenalia. They used to be near TU, 15th/Delaware (I think). They are now on Lewis between 11th and 15th. Something like that. Apparently still worth the trip!
  • #16732 by kodiakisland on 13 Jun 2016
  • Just get them through stubhub or similar site and sit where you want.  I've usually been able to find reasonably priced tickets in the area I wanted to sit.

  • As posted in previous threads, i am visiting October 8th for the Bama game.  You guys have been very kind in giving advice, etc.

I'm looking for a place near campus that reserves parking for individual football games in advance, whether it be a church, school, another fan, etc.  I know this may be a difficult request, but do you guys know of any websites, etc I could check out?  I have been checking Stubhub.

Otherwise I guess I will have to park at Baum Stadium parking lot.  Does it fill up fast?

    Thanks again guys in advance.

I don't think they offer pre-pay single tickets:

    Quote
Single game passes will be available on a first come first serve basis.  However, you will not be allowed to "choose" the location of your space.

However, you can call them and see what time you should get there etc.

How far are you willing to walk and what do you plan to do before/after the game?
  • #16739 by arky37 on 15 Jun 2016
  • There will be hundreds of passes for sale on Stubhub in another month or so. The problem is they don't guarantee the same parking assignments every year like they do with seats, so it's risky for sellers to list this far in advance. I would definitely wait it out.
  • #16740 by FANONTHEHILL on 15 Jun 2016
  • An inexpensive option is parking at Fayetteville High School.  It's southeast of the stadium. There are no reserved spots, but always spots available. It's a fundraiser for there band. $10-$20 in recent years.  The walk up to the stadium takes you by the Gardens Tailgate area and you could drop by the museum at Bud Walton Arena if you like.

A totally free option, but is a long walk, is to park on Dickson Street and walk up.  I attend Central United Methodist Church and there is a covered parking garage at the church that is free.  Also lots of standard lot parking as well. You could head up Dickson (the Fayetteville Entertaimment District) grab some food or a drink, enjoy the game, and then do the same on your way back to the car.

Whatever you decide to do, have a safe trip up.

Oliver and Halsell (highlighted streets) have plenty of ($25 - $60) single game options... Easy walk to the stadium through some pretty popular tailgating areas. Get there early and you won't have any problems finding a spot.

  • As several folks have stated the key is to get to a place to park EARLY. That being said, there are several private residences that park cars on Cleveland ST. It's north of the stadium about 1/4-1/2 mile. The caveat is that the walk down is easy;  the walk back up after the game is a calf burner and lung expander for about 250 yards or so.   If age, bad knees etc...are an issue, plan accordingly

If the opportunity presents itself and you get the chance you might look to see if a parking tag comes available for sale in the parking garage right across from RRS on Stadium Dr.
