  • Any word on where he may transfer?

  • In an article a few days ago it said he was looking to transfer.

That may have been a kneejerk reaction on a young man's part to the firing of his coach, so he may change his mind.  But it was in the article.

"The player most likely to transfer because of the firing is guard Chris Lofton of Maysville, Ky., who set the SEC record for 3-pointers by freshmen this season.

"I know it's going to be hard for him to stay. Every school would love to have him," Peterson said."

He could pull a Sparks and sit out next year at UK, then be eligible when Rondo's gone to the pros the next year.

  • You're right there.  He's a player, not just a 3 point shooter.

  • It appeared that last year Lofton was going to ink with us and I believe he would have if it was not for the Big Al situation. So if he were to transfer I could seem him thinking about us.

  • Lofton sure would help our next coach.

Agreed.  Most kids in blue country bleed blue.  Now that he has proven himself in the SEC, Tubby would gladly give him a scholarship.
