It sure looked like at the last 20 seconds or so, he wiped tears and congratulated everyone.... think it has to do with him being proud of the "newly enthusiastic" team???

DEVIL DOG HOG

Did all of the players get into the game? I know Cranson played.

Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

Its Preston Cranford.

Sorry, Gorilla, but Devil Dog is right.  Cranson Prestford is the new, hot Juco prospect on the team.  (Though Preston Cranford is no relation.)

jhudson84

THE human victory cigar should be Mccurdy I'd take Cranford any day.

Okay, so I am officially pulling for Heath now.  I can't help it - I have to pull for a guy with that much class and dignity.

BUT - IF he gets to stay - I hope he takes this year as a lesson and learns that he has to instill fire in his guys *every game* to be a perennial winner.

Shawn Davis got pissed at the 1995 game between the current team and the 1990 team. The other players were like "Dude this is a freakin exhibition game!"

Murray was one of my favorites.
Joe Dean Davenport wasn't as a key as Matt Jones was, but he had his moments.  He did well.

He's no Eugene Nash.

He's no Cannon Whitby

He's no  John Engskov.

PWNED!

Dang it! Beat me to it!

I wonder if Corliss has that pic of Engy hugging him after the 94 Championship game framed and hung in his TV room? That pic is priceless!

You know it Windy!

He's the basketball Hogs most legendary pine jockey.

As a teen growing up, me and my Lake City buds would go wild every time Eugene would get in the game.

I'm happy for the guy. He's had a tough year and is a class act.

Really proud of the team for winning and doing it in style. Maybe they will make it to the tourney and make a run a help us forget about the sour note the football team ended on.

Eric Poerske.

lol.

I havent heard that name in YEARS.

Now there was a blue collar, lunch pail type of role player. I miss those days.

PIGINAPOKE

Stan has not saved his job by beating S.C.

Even after todays win..The records of this years play stands.

Hell, I hope they run the table. But as someone who does not let a little glitter turn to gold with a last ditch effort, He had his chance to do alot better, And if they did, They would have not played today as a lower seeded team. Fresh Legs is the key.

Who knows,The real team may just go out and kick a%% to the tourny.

If Stan has it in him, Now is the time to dump the tank, fresh legs or not.
