If Tygart is smart he'll come back in 2025 to continue to develop.

Quote from: HatfieldHog on Today at 08:46:07 amI think, if Bybee starts a game, that you see him being more effective, than coming in for relief.  I'd start Bybee in place of either Tygart or Molina, and let both of them come out of the pen in spot work.  Tygart's arm is not what it was when he was a freshman, and I think that the injury he had, has either never healed properly, or his arm strength has just lessened through use.

See ya

Think he gets another shot in the SEC Tourney. If he does good maybe a few regional innings.

Quote from: pigroots on Today at 08:34:14 amI like getting Mac ready to pitch game 1 in the regional. If he's proven anything it's that he is mentally strong enough to pitch in any and all situations. His stuff may not be as good as some others but his moxie is. That being said I'm not sure how he would do against the Aggies in College Station this weekend. They are the best hitting team we will play this year and are much better at home. That's where a lack of stuff can give up several long balls. I expect Hagen Smith to do Hagen Smith things this weekend but after that...? It will be a great test going into postseason

I love Mac and what he has done for us but seriously dude? over Hagen?

If Arkansas can win just 1 game at Texas A&M they will not only win the SEC West division championship, but I think they will be a lock for a top 8 national seed.

It would be a disaster if they let A&M sweep them. They would lose the West, they would drop to the #4 seed in the SEC Tournament, and would likely slip outside of the top 8.

Quote from: LRhawg926 on Yesterday at 07:24:19 pmYou can't take Gabe out of closer role this year. Maybe let gage take Molina or Tygart spot in starting rotation.
He already has been taken out of that role. He is more of a leverage releiver now that can finish the game, looks like fsherty gonna be our 9th inning closer

Which is just crazy, but I guess if that is where Washington wants to spend their money.

Quote from: LRhawg926 on Yesterday at 02:29:59 pmAnother disappointing season for dvh. Staff started great now we have Hagen smith and that's it: just disappointing
Arkansas, 42-10 overall, 19-8 conference, 33-3 with no series lost at home, top 5 ranking for the whole season, 1st place in the toughest division in the NCAA. Yeah I'm certain that DVH is very downtrodden this morning.

Quote from: Ham Porter on Yesterday at 07:49:00 pmThere's a world where a bullpen of Foutch, Faherty, Tygart, and Gaeckle in the last 4-5 innings of a game is a thing of beauty. Give each of them an inning to throw all they got (Gaeckle maybe gets two innings).

There's also a world where that goes very, very poorly.

Too late to stretch Gabe out only 1 series left. Tygart to long middle role would be the best if he buys into it. Don't forget Hewlett, see him playing a major role going forward too.

Yeah they were talking some crap. Would give the give me more hand gestures when fans would boo ump. They thought they had it in bag.
