In the past I could shut my computer off for a day or two and when I entered HV, I was still logged in.  Now, I shut it off for and hour and I return, I have to log in with my password. Now and in the past I always check the box to "stay logged in".  Has something changed?  How can I prevent this?  tia

Guaranteed it's something with your browser.

Clear all temp files.
Clear all temp internet files
Clear all cookies
(If you use "Disk Cleanup", you can knock out all three of these at the same time)

Reboot your computer and then log in again.
